FAQ: Which CPR Class is Right for Me?

BLS Healthcare Provider – Anyone who is in a healthcare situation needs BLS Healthcare Provider. If you work in a Dr.’s office, Dentist office, Hospital, a student of medicine or dental hygienist, ANY AND ALL OCCUPATIONS IN THE MEDICAL FIELD. If you are unsure and have questions please call.

Heartsaver CPR/AED – This focuses on providing good compressions and breaths to someone who is unconscious and not breathing. This course is for the person who has never had CPR, as well as those who have had CPR before and are re-certifying.

Heartsaver First Aid – This class is designed to teach students basic skills in First Aid. This is NOT an EMT course. It is a general information course good for everyone. This course includes, bleeding emergencies, breaks and sprains, allergic reactions, breathing emergencies, Heart attacks, strokes, fainting, diabetic emergencies, and so much more.

Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED – This course is a combination of the Heartsaver CPR/AED/FirstAid courses. This course is needed if you are in childcare, lifeguards, personal trainer, anything with children or you just want general information about both CPR and First Aid.

Bloodborne Pathogens – A video driven course that teaches about the importance of staying safe when dealing with blood, and the diseases that the blood carries and how to stay safe when dealing with it or cleaning it up. This may be an OSHA mandate for some companies

Friends and Family – For those who are looking for general information in CPR without needing certification. For Boy scouts and Girl scouts needing badges, this class is perfect. Upon completion of Friends and Family, you receive an award of completion, and the satisfaction of knowing that you have knowledge that can save a life. This class is NOT for those who need certification in CPR.
